1. What is the most popular board game you play?
Half and half between Ameritrash and Eurotrash.  But one thing for sure is that about half of the people here prefer smaller shorter games [less than one hour].  That means "Twilight Imperium" will be collecting dust on your shelf while you're re-stocking "Citadel" and "Sitting Ducks" quiet often.  Many of them have language barrier and will favor games that don't rely on a lot of text.

2. What is the most popular expandable board game you play. (i.e. one that has add on games)?
From what I noticed, people here don't buy a lot of expansions, they'd rather just buy new games.

3. Other than MtG and Yu-gi-oh what is the most popular CCG you play
Just Magic.  sometimes random Thai CCG

4. What's the most popular LCG card game you play?
The concept of living card game is still strange to most thai.  In fact, I don't fully understand it myself.

5. What's the most popular miniatures game you play?
World of Warcraft. the one with the Heroclix base that you can turn the wheel.
A couple people here own Warhammer fantasy and 40k.  But nobody plays it, because not enough people play it and there's no place to play.  Plus it's expensive, there's a forum here that people want to get rid of their warhammer army, but nobody will buy them.  I think you'll have most luck selling miniatures that are pre-painted, and starter kit of any game. At least that's the safest choice for a start if you wanna sell miniature games.  May be it will grow from there.

6. What's the most popular RPG  (pen and paper not PC) you play?
People here are mostly interested in D&D, especially the starter set with the pretty pre-painted miniatures.
They don't know many other games other than D&D.  I've told them about WOD and got pretty good response.
They prefer simpler game system because of language barrier.
I'm currently running Castles & Crusades [C&C, similar to Classic D&D, simpler system]

11. What RPG (pen and paper not PC) would you most like to try?
I've collected a poll.  You might find it useful.
Medieval European Fantasy [D&D, C&C] 22%
Modern Horror [WOD, etc.] 20%
Samurai Fantasy [L5R] 16%
Wuxia 15% [Wuxia is big in thailand]
Sci-fi 15%
Super Hero 12%

12. Do you paint miniatures or other gaming models.
I've painted countless miniatures.  Painting models used to be big in Thailand.  Even now, most shopping malls carry modelling supplies and paint.  The latest Fantasy Flights boardgame miniatures are all made of soft plastic.  Paint might crack and fall off it if bent.  And a lot of other games come pre-painted.  Honestly I don't think you'll have much luck selling paints and modeling supplies, unless you introduce some sort of miniature games, that needs painting.

13. And finally... If a new game/card set/miniature etc is released, are you most interested to buy it as fast as possible regardless of price, or prefer to wait longer if the price is lower?

Personally I'd like to buy
Nobilis RPG [just the core rules]
Wraith: The oblivion [it's out of print I think, but I'll buy it in a flash if I see it.  I wonder if they will ever remake it, If they do, I'll wait for the new edition]

What I think might sell [don't blame me if they don't]
D&D 4th edition main stuff
C&C
BESM [Big Eye Small Mouth]
Gurps 4th edition [Wendell might buy it]
L5R boardgame [Mike will buy it for sure]

I don't know any LCG. I don't know how to play, how to collect and how much I will expend for a best deck.

None, I think the collectible miniature use too much space to carry.
 :egg064:

11. What RPG (pen and paper not PC) would you most like to try?
I want to play this C&C for a while (may be a year) and I will make the decision if I will continue to play or play other.
 :egg061:

12. Do you paint miniatures or other gaming models.
Certainly not, I'm not good in painting and I don't interest the painting as hobbies.
 :egg049:

13. And finally... If a new game/card set/miniature etc is released, are you most interested to buy it as fast as possible regardless of price, or prefer to wait longer if the price is lower?
For me, I prefer the price with acceptable quality.

Sorry, I misread your last question.

I'm a slow buyer.  I don't buy it the first time I see it.  I go home, read reviews, weigh decisions.

To answer your question, in my experience, game prices rarely go down.  So if I want something, I'll just buy it.

RPG is a different story.  RPG takes a lot of commitment, so I have to choose even more carefully.  Plus, I usually buy 2nd printing or later because 1st printing is always a disaster: typos, errata, bad binding etc. And unless I truly love the game, I rarely buy supplements.  And I never buy adventure modules.

All of the above also depends on the conversion rate.  That's one thing which keeps me from buying games like crazy like I used to.  If it's reasonable [ie. relatively close to the cover price], I'd buy it without much thought.

Thanks everyone for the feedback so far, please do keep sharing.

Question 13 is regarding the speed for me to get things here, I can put them on a boat, it takes a month and the prices are ok, or I can courier items but the price goes up and they are here fast (in time for official launch dates).  We can certianly vary the method depending on demand but it's good to get an idea of people's over all preference of price VS speed :)
